Company profile, Background
Temponik is a fast growing Danish company founded in 1988 as a subsidiary of a large pressure die casting company. Already at that time several customers sought after possibilities of testing prototypes of their parts before the final die casting tool was designed. The die casting company found it very attractive to be able to offer their customers a quick and low priced alternative to traditional die cast parts, and entered into an agreement with an American company.
A manufacturing process called TempoCast was brought in, and the company Temponik was established, and soon the manufacture of functional prototypes with very short lead times at attractive prices started.
At the beginning the production was focused on aluminium and zinc castings, but as Temponik always aims at being on the cutting edge of development, experiments were carried out, and very soon the first magnesium castings were introduced. Since then our production processes are continuously developed and improved.
After a few years Temponik became an independent company and was sold to Jan Brinch-Møller.
Today Temponik Skive A/S is one of very few prototype manufacturers with more than 20 years experience in casting complex parts.
Through the past five years Temponik has increased the number of employees, expanded the production facilities, and invested in advanced machinery etc. in order to keep up with the increasing demand for prototypes.
