Rapid Prototyping with a green touch
ReformTech has designed a unique set of catalytic burners with high thermal efficiency and ultralow emission of carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrous oxides (NOX). Temponik is proud being a part of this development process.
ReformTech: “We use Temponik for rapid prototyping of parts for our heater products. The parts Temponik are making for us are quite complex produced with internal ribs. But at Temponik they are good at pointing out the high risk areas on the prototypes. And normally the production succeeds”.
ReformTech has been working with Temponik for 2-3 years. Approximately 20 different designs have been produced for physical testing, prelaunch and exhibitions. After approval the parts are released for large scale production.
“We develop and market our products to the automotive industry. Therefore they need to be tested both with water and gas”, explains ReformTech.
“We are happy collaborating with Temponik. They are highly skilled and even though the parts often have a challenging and a complex design the end product normally meet our specifications”.
Stig Strøm Dahl, Sales Engineer at Temponik explains: “The TempoForm process is perfect for casting parts that are complicated or impossible to cast with traditional casting methods. ”The TempoForm process makes it possible to make functional prototypes in one piece, knowing that the part has to be divided into several pieces for mass production".
